The Penn State Dickinson Law Review is one of the oldest legal journals in the nation and is the flagship journal of Penn State Dickinson Law. It is a general-interest journal dedicated to scholarship that advances global knowledge and understanding, consistent with Penn State’s role as a world-class research university.
The Penn State Dickinson Law Review strives to provide an author-friendly experience. Our goal is to create a positive editorial experience that preserves the unique voice of each author while providing appropriate support and feedback.
The Law Review is in the process of reunifying the Penn State Law Review and Dickinson Law Review into a single journal. Although the Law Review’s name has changed several times throughout the course of its 125+ year history, its commitment to excellence has remained steadfast. The Penn State Dickinson Law Review has a storied history, having published articles by leading academics, judges, and lawyers from around the country and world. It is proud of its tradition of publishing articles that seek to influence thought-leaders and policy-makers to improve the world in which our students live.
We typically publish three issues per volume. With our reunification efforts, we will be publishing five issues for Volume 131.
